On February 12, Lucio David 'N' voluntarily appeared at the facilities of the Attorney General's Office of Mexico City. The Attorney's Office informed the Edoméx Attorney's Office, and elements of the latter transferred the individual to the Justice Center for Women in Cuautitlán Izcalli, State of Mexico, to gather his testimony within the framework of an investigation.

The Attorney's Office of the State of Mexico is investigating Diana Jaciel 'N' and Lucio David 'N' for allegedly putting the life and integrity of a newborn at risk. Actions will be taken to identify possible crimes and act accordingly.

Regarding a video that shows possible malpractice by a public servant from the Attorney's Office, it is clarified that the events occurred shortly after 2:00 AM when the baby was abandoned in a plastic bag. The official temporarily suspended his work to assist Lucio's parents, who presented themselves at the Attorney's Office.

In statements, President Claudia Sheinbaum emphasized the importance of addressing the root causes of child abandonment. The Attorney's Office of the State of Mexico has initiated an investigation with a gender and child rights perspective due to the abandonment of the newborn in Tultitlán.

The baby is receiving medical attention and is in good health, under the custody of the DIF. Diana Jaciel 'N' and Lucio David 'N' are being investigated for their alleged involvement in the abandonment of the minor. The Attorney's Office continues to work to clarify the facts and ensure the best interests of the child and the rights of the victims.
